Our Philosophy

Panda's Child Care Centre is dedicated to providing a high quality, nurturing, safe and secure environment. We foster the development of the whole child by providing educational, individualised programs. We respect the diversity within the community and interact with families to create an atmosphere of support and acceptance. We believe that every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique and is not only capable fo learning but also capable of succeeding 

 

Our Curriculum

We provide an educational curriculum for each age group. We incorporate the Queensland Government approved Kindergarten Program into our curriculum, and this is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and is designed to be flexible, fun and evolve around the children’s individual needs, abilities and interests.

 

We identify the importance of play in the learning process for young children. Play offers rich experiences in which educators nurture each child's cognitive, physical, social & emotional development, guiding and challenging each child to progress.

 

Our educators provide a learning environment where children can make choices, participate in play and develop independence and self-help skills. We support and enhance each child's ability to initiate and maintain relationships, support each child's problem solving abilities, cognitive and mathematical thinking, logical inquiry and to stimulate their curiosity.
